How to be a successful personal trainer?



Fitness industry is growing fast, everyone now is looking for working out as lifestyle and not only for changing the outer shape.
This is also includes who are working at the fitness industry, gyms and spas. working as a personal trainer is now becoming a job for many, and many clients are looking for the trainer as idol and example to follow. The question is, do you follow the right example? do you really see him as an inspiration?
As a personal trainer, do you see yourself as a pro? Are you pro enough to change others life styles?

I will guide you to some important points to be able to evaluate yourself as a PT and to organize your thinking to be able to get more clients and of course more money.

To be a successful PT, you have to:


  1. To be well educated and have a good level of fitness, nutrition knowledge. knowledge will make you answer all the clients inquiry and will make you look professional. knowledge will assist you to train all types of clients.
  2. You as  PT, you must have a vision regarding your career, a vision will make you follow a steps to achieve it, without a vision, you are wasting time.
  3. You must have a selling skills, selling skills means how to open a selling conversation, how to convince the clients to pay for you.
  4. You as a PT must have a good looking, with a good body shape, you will be able to convince others that you are capable to train them and some will ask you directly to train them to look like you.
  5. A good transformation you made with many clients, you also will be able to convince others that you are qualified. 
  6. You as a PT, ask yourself how many clients i have made during the past 6 months? how many of them renewed there membership with me? renewing membership with you means that the are convinced with your service and want to continue with you.
  7. As a PT, you must have many training principles to follow to be able to train many types of clients.
Focus on all the above points before entering the industry and make these points your evaluating lines.
Don't take the personal training as a JOB because if you do so you will end with nothing and waste time.
